It's Getting Hot

I bought myself some new sneakers yesterday and have been hanging to go for a walk/jog ever since.

Earlier this evening I went for a walk/jog to Nic & Robyn's, it has actually been awhile since I went to their place on one of my jaunts. I took a gps with me this time to double check the distance I was travelling. In the past I have said it was 5.9km, the gps today said it was 6.51km. Personally I think the GPS went a bit funny and I am going to stick with it being 5.9km.

I think I pushed myself a little hard because at one stage I felt like I was going to chuck, so I just slowed down a bit. I made it in 58mins I think, a little slow but I am going to blame the heat. When I got to Nic & Robyn's I drank about 3L of water, so it was hot.

I think as summer kicks in I am going to have to start doing the walks later to accommodate for the heat.
